Hand Wash Preferred: Soak in cool water (under 30°C) with a pH-neutral liquid detergent specifically designed for silk.
Machine Washable: Use a mesh laundry bag. Select the "Delicate" or "Hand Wash" cycle with a cold temperature setting.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Never use bleach, fabric softeners, or optical brighteners, as they dissolve the silk proteins.
Drying: Do not wring or tumble dry. Lay flat on a clean towel or hang to dry in the shade. Direct sunlight will cause the silk to become brittle and yellow.
Ironing: Silk naturally de-wrinkles when used. If needed, iron on the reverse side using the lowest "Silk" setting while the fabric is slightly damp.
